| Which is harder: AP Calc or AP Stats? I was wondering, which class is harder at you school: AP Clac or AP Stats?
(If I pass all my math classes) I'll have time for both, but I'm just curious right now.
Thanks very much! |

| well .. at my school, this is the first year for stats.. i just took the ap test today and am out of it with enthusiasm and optimism for reciving my grade report in july..
anyways, stats is about probability, inferences, regressions (hopefully i havent lost you already), graphs, means, tests, blah blah blah
basically its the math class for those of us who can stand trig lol
my prognosis: stats is much easier |

| calc for me is ridiculously easy. no joke, i dont study.
my sister has stats, and it seems harder for her than calc, which she took last year. |

| Calc. ridiculously easy? Are you serious? Maybe it's just that my teacher is a hard grader, but calc. is the hardest class at my school, while Stats is known as "AP Counting."
I think I might get the first B of my life in calc this semster, and I generally score second in my class on practice tests. I guess the concepts arn't that hard for me (although they mystify my mother), its just that the class is. |

| Stat is easier. While there are some people who stuggle with stat at my school, I would say that many more people have a hard time with calc (and the same teacher teaches both classes, so it's a pretty fair comparison). |

| For my school, Calculus BC is easier than Calc AB and Stats. However on the AP exam, stats is ridiculously easy compared to BC. |

| Stats in the classroom is much harder
I'm in both right now
with a C in stats and A in BC
I think I did really well on the stats test and I'm iffy about Calc tomorrow.
So that may tell you something about the school |

| Completely depends on your school. I'm in Calc AB and Stats, and I find Stats harder, where my brother is in Calc BC and Stats and finds Calc harder. |

| at my school ap calc is way easier than stat. I took the exam yesterday and it wasn't hard but wasn't that easy and the stat class itself is hard. This semester we've had 22 tests. |

| ive taken both of them, you don't really have to study for calc but stats requires a little effort in terms of knowing how to use the calculator. thats the only difference in my opinion |
