Marching Band Section Leader
Hi. I'm trying to try out for section leader and/or Drum major. I'm a rising junior in high school. I have to write an essay and do an interview with my band director.. and I don't know what to write in my essay. Any suggestions????????

I would just talk about why you want to be a leader, what you will contribute, how you have great ideas for the future of the band, what your great ideas for the band are, how much you love band and have always wanted to be a leader, how much potential the band has, your high expectations for the band, etc. These are just a few suggestions. Hope this helps, and good luck! I hope you get the position you want.
