What is the best POEM u can come up with?????

this is my story
a silent little life story
lonliness is keep on saying
why are you suffering?

a long time story
filled with lonliness
each wound is growing and growing
it is trying to tell me
ive gone through the thorns of my memories
and im still living

this is only my story
just a memory
my pain is growing
telling me something

now i have no one
but i still care
im troubled
but i still want to live

in the jungle of memories
my heart is struck with thorns
but i am living in the midst of the falling walls.

just a poem i came up with.........describing my pain i feel when i look back in time. I regret, i hope, i believe.

What is the best poem you guys can come up with?????????

i dont care tho........it makes so much sense to me that i see it as a masterpiece. Remeber, a poem is a group of words but the meaning behind each word is infinite.

There was an old man from Peru
Who dreamt he was eating his shoe.
He awoke in a fright
In the middle of the night
And found it was perfectly true.

'You are old, Father William,' the young man said,
'And your hair has become very white;
And yet you incessantly stand on your head -
Do you think, at your age, it is right?'

'In my youth,' Father William replied to his son,
'I feared it might injure the brain;
But, now that I'm perfectly sure I have none,
Why, I do it again and again.'

'You are old,' said the youth, 'as I mentioned before,
And have grown most uncommonly fat;
Yet you turned a back-somersault in at the door -
Pray, what is the reason of that?'

'In my youth,' said the sage, as he shook his grey locks,
'I kept all my limbs very supple
By the use of this ointment - one shilling the box -
Allow me to sell you a couple?'

'You are old,' said the youth, 'and your jaws are too weak
For anything tougher than suet;
Yet you finished the goose, with the bones and the beak -
Pray how did you manage to do it?'

'In my youth,' said his father, 'I took to the law,
And argued each case with my wife;
And the muscular strength, which it gave to my jaw,
Has lasted the rest of my life.'

'You are old,' said the youth, 'one would hardly suppose
That your eye was as steady as ever;
Yet you balanced an eel on the end of your nose -
What made you so awfully clever?'

'I have answered three questions, and that is enough,'
Said his father; 'don't give yourself airs!
Do you think I can listen all day to such stuff?
Be off, or I'll kick you down stairs!'

-- My favorite poem from my favorite book.

I am sitting on my computer, here,
while I should be having a life,
CC is an addiction I fear,
but I can not resist, even with all my might.

So instead I continure to obsess,
about test, grades, and EC's,
causing me even more stress,
for the Adcoms I must appease.

I can not wait until senior year,
then I can get this entire thing done,
and wait for decisions letters to appear,
maybe even have some fun!

Now I have wasted ten minutes writing,
A poem that is very unexciting.

...just like Shakespeare.

To be real was Pinocchio's desire,
Of this dream he never did tire;
But he knew he was wood,
When he bashed on his pud;
And the poor little bugger caught fire.

Not my creation though.

Maybe
loneliness
is the missing "e" in my life.
Twice.
Maybe it is written
on the backside of so many
thorn-pricked hearts and growing pains.
Or maybe loneliness
is just another
crappy poem.
