OK, maybe it's not gang violence, but I almost got involved in drug dealing. There were a lot of fights in school, too. They send people who get into fights straight into alternative school, which wouldn't be so good for college apps.

It really bugs me when people can't differentiate "you're" and "your." That has to be like one of my biggest pet peeves.

Obvious grammar mistakes are also one of my biggest pet peeves. I never enjoyed learning internet slang, either.

Any good typist should be able to type proper English than most dumbasses type internet slang.

You never learned internet slang, really? Grammar mistakes bug me on forums, but I let a lot of things slide when it's over AIM. I know I commonly use "u" instead of "you" and "tho" instead of "though" a lot when instant messaging.

I don't think I've ever met anyone who typed with perfect grammar and punctuation over AIM, lol. Quite frankly, that would be a little odd.

I'm somewhere between popular, nerd, and loser. I guess it depends who you ask, really.

As for clothing, I wear Nike shirts, college shirts(usually made by Nike ), and some artsy-type shirts. For pants, usually jeans. For summer, I wear shorts, since I just bought some.

I cannot write things like that. It bugs the crap out of me. Also, when textmessaging I write out full words.

As for the original topic, I'm by no means the stereotypical definition of 'preppy.' I tend to be emo-ish minus the ridiculous scene-kid look.
I'm a jeans/t-shirt kind of girl, although I have a love for some dresses. I also rock chuck all-starts at all times.

I am the coolest of the nerds, the smartest of the jocks. I have a realy eccentric personality that that fits in alot of places, and no where at the same time. But I work alot, and the pressure/lack of time of jr year drove me away from the crappy social scene at MTV High. Now I hang out with a bunch of 25-45 year old waitresses.

Well, I try to stand out from the crowd. I purchase my clothes mostly from H & M and wear skinny jeans practically every day. I consider myself the quintessential hairband, flats philosophobe.

I'm "popular" in an outlandish sort of manner...through clubs and academic stuff...nothing too special. I have a natural high that many individuals appear to find immensly appealing. Haha.

Eh, well, it accounts to my laziness. I probably start out most conversations with good grammar, but dip into some bad habits after chatting with someone for like over half an hour. I also tend to text in class so it makes sense for me to use "condensed" words in my messages so I don't get caught, haha.

As for social status, I guess I'll elaborate a little more on my first post. I typically hang out with two other guys who, like me, play baseball, so we have our own little social sphere because most of what we talk about simply won't keep the attention of others. And trust me, there are people from another larger group (we just hang around their area sometimes) come to our small group only to leave a few moments later because there normally isn't a whole lot to talk about and it just gets...awkward.

As for what I wear, well, I'm mostly a shirt or sweatshirt and jean type of person. I wear my white tennis shoes most of the time, but I wear my black chucks with black/dark jeans or cargo shorts. Basically, I won't stand out in anyway, really.

I like band shirts for heavy metal bands.

People look at me funny when I wear one of my more elaborate Slayer shirts. There are much more outrageous shirts out there, such as Cannibal Corpse shirts, but I don't like most of those bands.

Slayer! I only have the Iron Eagle shirt, but considering I have 3 band shirts, it's significant.

There are a lot of kids in my school who wear those black heavy metal shirts. It's so funny how divided my school is. You literally have all the jocks, wannabes, emos, punks, whores, and nerds in their own little groups.
