My school just told me that they will do nothing that "Tracks students" which includes NHS Mu Alpha Theta etc. We don't rank either...

the only reason i did NHS is so I could run for a exec position and I got it. Thats the only reason, in my case, NHS is worth something.

NHS is retarded at my school. Everyone does it, so I decided not to.

The requirements are like, a 3.0 GPA and 60 hrs. of community service.

The people in it take it seriously, but NHS doesn't actually DO anything. They elect a president and vice president and hold meetings every now and then to talk about how awesome they are.

But seriously, it's a joke. I know people in NHS who got 20's on the ACT. I have better ways to spend my time.

At my school, the only requirement was that you had to have a 3.5 GPA and 3 letters of recommendation. I got inducted at the end of last year so I've never been to a meeting, but I heard we do nothing.
