Motivation~(Exclusively for average students)

What impels you to study everyday? What drives you to open your prep book and actually *try* to learn the material. Please be specific and don\'t distribute various random irrelevant reasons, rather mere one.

Frankly, I don\'t retain the internal drive I need at the moment.

Don\'t bother posting if you\'re a:
Straight A student
Ranked in the top percent (I\'m being blunt.)
Love to read (Hahaha, sorry book lovers)
Always earning high marks on exams
(Rules may vary, you are cautioned.)

i only study so i can get into my reach school. if somehow i knew beforehand that i wouldn't get in, i would just throw all my prep books away. i know i have the grades to get into my state schools so i wouldn't bother anymore.

I'm hoping to find some motivation as well in the future. I don't remember studying for longer than 30 minutes at once on my own volition ever in my life...sad, coming to this site has actually reduced my gaming time a bit.

Slowly trying to work on it. I can assure you I'm no national contest winner or anything.
