I wear glasses more as like a fashion statement than a vision issue. It makes things a LOT more clear, I'm not going to lie, but I can totally live without them. Also, it covers my bent nose I received from a karate accident pretty well (:
I would wear contacts - and i do have them, but i find that its a struggle to put them in when you're sleep deprived at 6 AM. So i usually just go with glasses.
Glasses- contacts make me itchy and it's hard for me to touch my eyes. My mom says to give it time but I'm very anti.
I love the big-frame styles but my mom hates them and they look really bad on me, so I'm stuck with my little pink half-frames from seventh grade. Oh well.
I wear both. Sometimes I'm just too lazy to put my contacts in so I'll use glasses. Usually if I wear sweats I'll wear glasses, if I'm just going to buy something I won bother with contacts. I'd say I use them 50/50. I had intended on just using contacts for softball but I found how convinient they were.
I wish I wore contacts but I wear glasses. My mom says I can't get contacts until I'm 18, when I'm almost off to college. After wearing my glasses for too long, my eyes start burning and sometimes I get a mild headache.
Contacts for school, and but glasses at home.
Contacts take a bit of getting used to. I I just got mine this summer and it was so flipping uncomfortable at first, but now it feels incredible.
Does anyone else here have this habit of pushing up your "glasses" even when you have contacts on?
I just got glasses this year and they don't fit properly on my nose so it looks slanted. But I only wear them in class when I can't see not out in public.Although I look like I should be taken more seriously I don't like them.If I get a job or apply for one id definately consider bringing it along.
Imagine if all of us with vision problems got together for a photo shoot and wore glasses and the camera`s flash went off...talk about reflection from the lenses!
