you're telling me
i just completely failed a spanish test. and i dont even mean like a D. im talking about getting EVERY SINGLE question wrong because my stupid teacher never even taught me anything useful!

my average in apush is averaging on a C (although it's to be expected b/c you need time to get used to the course. well, i do, anyways)

my latin grade isnt what i'd like it to be (B-)

and my biology teacher has no idea what's going on with the world.

ugh. i just need to rant. badly.

hmph I feel like junior year wouldn't suck so much if there were no standardized tests to deal with because you're "done". lol. My parents tried to get me to be "done" with testing-SATI by fall of Junior year. How great that worked out. =.= It's ok... I have to get into the swing of things like (2nd quarter last year) and be speedy... tis' hard. EVERY FRIGGIN CLUB takes up so much invisible time.... ::sigh:: I'm only part of one and a half.

Yea, junior is very difficult. I am having a pretty hard time right now. But I learned to put limits. I make sure to always hang out with friends on weekends, and relax everyday. By all means though, that doesnt mean give up. Try all you can to get help and to understand material. Set realistic goals, and above all make sure your happy. And I know about setting goals from experience- Rank 43 to Rank 10 by becoming #1 in 10th grade. Straight A's are not everything. High School and College are supposed to be the best years of your life, so dont waste it.

It's not only junior year, but eh, it depends - I don't have a sympathy for anyone (including myself) who has bad grades because he/she CHOSE the difficult classes to load up and all those EC's and stuff to do, then says, "OMG IM SO BUSY MY..life!! it's so difficult!" There are a couple instances, rarely where parents make their kids take really difficult courses, even that's a bit sketchy but I guess more understandable.

We'll just have to live with it or fix it. I think I've said this already, but I as a soph have 2 C-'s and a B-. (which borders on 2 D's and a C).

OMG seriously... I hate this year too. I went in thinking I'd come out with a 4.0, but my current grades are:

AP English: A
Honors Algebra 3/Trig: C- (eek)
College Level Anatomy: D+ (double eek)
History: A-
AP Chemistry: B-
Honors Spanish 4: B+

^^^^I'm so entirely screwed.. I have no idea if I can revive myself before the semester is over. And to make matters worse, I've been studying, doing all the assignments, and being a good boy in class, but I still get punished with these horrible grades.
I can't WAIT until Cross Country is over and I can start studying more.

I am EPIC ASIAN FAILING my classes this year. IB is unimaginably difficult.

IB Math HL: A
IB European History HL: A
IB Biology HL: B
IB English HL: C- (I have never worked SO HARD for SUCH A LOW GRADE)
IB Physics SL: C (but there's only 2 things in the grade book so far...)
IB French SL: D+ (je detest la classe de francaise)

1st year of IB, plus extracurriculars, plus my job... I am super stressed.
I never thought IB could possibly be this hard. When I got my English essay back with a D-, I literally just broke down and sat on the floor. I worked so hard on that essay, but I still get a D-! The sad thing is, other people atleast have C's or B's in that class! I have gotten less than 6 hours of sleep ever since the second week of school, and I think it's affecting my writing, nothing I am writing is making sense.

**** my life.
*cries*

Since this is the "official" complaint/grades thread (I agree that it's more efficient to keep a thread like this instead of creating a new one each time for each person) ...and I'm bored:

Updates (my school does this online thing where you can check your grades/transcript/etc 24/7 quickly) :

AP World - Went from a C+ to a B-. My hw average went from a 23% to a 56%.
Precalc- C- still. Haven't had a 2nd test yet (1st test I got a C+ lmfao wrote Chuck Norris 3 times as the answers).
...Pretty much the only "decently difficult" classes I have, I'm neither a junior/senior nor a private where you're allowed to take 5 AP's soph year.

The rest like Chemistry, English, PE (weightlifting ftw), and french are a breeze. Boring though.

Well. i got my mid quarter progress reports...and agree with the person who said less than 6 hrs of sleep since the second week of school....im with ya there!

So, my current grades are as follows:
H. Journalism - A
APUSH - A
AP Bio - B ( I ABSOLUTELY despise this class!)
Gym - technically a "c" since i missed school, but im bninging it up to an a by the end of this week by running some extra miles..so no biggie there.

AP English - B+...(um I love english...but this techer is craaaazy hard!)
H. Precalc - B- (god where do i begin...)
H. French - proudly a 99%

I dont think ive EVER had os much trouble in school and have had to try so HARD for these grades...damn its going to be a roughhh year!

good luck to all

Yay grades! And how I hate most of my senior classes...

AP Econ - A, 96 ish - w/o weighting [ i suppose i'll do all these unweighted.. although.. juwlkefjw that makes them look so much worse, haha]
AP Latin Lit - A+, I suppose around a 99
Philharmonic Orchestra - A+ like 98
AP Calc BC - A, ~94 not really sure what it is, lol
AP Euro - Bish, ~86 ish really have no clue at this point, but that's about it. I so love history and this teacher, but he's ridiculous with the amount of trivial knowledge that he expects us to have
AP Lit - no clue.. prolly around an 84, because I AM STUPID.
And last class of the day, I can't relaly think by then..
but anyway

All those are at least a 94 with weighting, lol. :[
