| Are you afraid to go to school?
For those of you minorities who live in 'conservative' states and go to mostly white schools, are you nervous about some potential harassment you might receive now that Obama is president?

Lol...wow...I can't believe you asked that. But, no I'm not scared I always carry my art knife with me wherever I go.
Also, what makes you think if that did happen, it would just happen at school? That could really happen anywhere.

im not a minority but i dont think anyone will start anything now that obama is president, i mean i dont think any would start anything just because you and him are a minority. if they did then they are very closed minded and they dont deserve to express there views.

Haha, so, I live in a reasonably conservative state and go to a predominately white school, but from what I can tell the student body is fairly evenly divided on this issue. A schoolwide election was in McCain's favor ever so slightly, but there were mountains of Nader votes so it was decided more by a plurality, and the senior class is mostly for Obama so the people I interact with on a daily basis are all pleased with the outcome.
In essence, there's more contentment than uneasiness going around here.

I'm in Socal, but for some reason my school's pretty damn conservative...but it's not that bad, it's pretty divided and etc.
Anyone who tried to mess with me and my friends, btw, would probably get beat up in a couple of seconds, so it's not a viable option anyways.

I'm in a Catholic school so no violence at all. It's so peaceful it almost seems a little... strange.
Idk if vietnamese people are a minority, though.

| Last time I checked, 99.9999% of the Vietnamese people were not White.
Coincidence?

Haha, lol, Invoyable. I thought what you guys meant by "minority" was anything but White and Black and Asians. Ex: Native American. So you're saying that anybody who is not White is considered a minority?
