Wow... guys..., I feel like I'm from the backwoods.

We're a school with 600 students. We (officially) offer 3 AP classes.
AP US History (about 3 hours a night)
AP Music Theory (never took)
AP Calculus AB/BC (30 to 60 minutes a night)

I'm taking (as independent studies) 3 other AP tests
AP French (0 hours a night, but I'm fluent)
AP French Lit (1 hour a night)
AP Spanish (30 minutes a night)

My friends are taking (through independent studies)
AP Studio in Art (don't know)
AP Physics (don't know)
AP English (don't know)
AP Chemistry (don't know)

If we want college credits, we take local college credit classes.

Wow, I would not expect music theory to be one of only three APs offered, thats a bit obscure.

As for me... I go to a school of 70-80 students. (No, that's not a typo for all you huge-schoolers out there.)

AP Calc AB: ~40 minutes of HW a night
AP English Lit: Rarely any -- this class is a joke here
AP Stats: ~ 40 minutes
AP Gov: Rarely any. Another joke class.
AP Micro/Macroeconomics: ~30 minutes, a bit of a joke class with tons of busywork

I'm mostly depending on self-studying for all but Calc and Stats since these are some of the worst classes I've ever taking. I spend about 30 minutes a night per subject self-studying, sometimes less, sometimes more. My school also doesn't offer any clubs, so I don't have many obligations after school. Just have Academic Decathlon, which I like FAR more than my other classes and spend somewhere around 2-3 hours a night on.

Why not, I'm bored, I'll give this a try.

Fairly large school, ~3500 students, public, not too good but not the worst, large dichotomy between the "smart" and "dumb" students due to its large number.

We have quite a bit of AP's, like 15, but it's impossible to take all of them, because of required classes and such; if you take 8 total before graduating high school, you're golden.

As for me I'm in one AP now - World History.

Hw, I do it at school this year, and if I have to, maybe 15 minutes at home at the most.

School: <1.5k students, Private Roman Catholic All-Boys College Prep School, 10 AP classes offered (self-studying encouraged)

AP Computer Science - No homework at all (unless you want to finish a program at home)
AP Physics B - .5-1 hr/day
AP US History - 15-20 hrs/segment (there's no "homework," only essays and tests on entire periods of history, we start a new segment once every 2 weeks or so)
AP Calc AB - .5-1hr/day
AP English Lang - 5-10hrs/wk (all homework given at beginning of week)

For APUSH and Lang, I don't necessarily do homework on a day by day basis. Unfortunately no block scheduling.

Track practice Mon-Sat, CS and Calc contests after school (but I don't lose any more time over this, as it just goes into my training), and other ECs that meet during school / on weekends.

From Sun-Thurs, absolutely no time for going out. Instead, I spend hours on the phone and go out on either Friday night or Saturday. I still get at least 6 hours of sleep a night, since I almost never procrastinate to a dangerous level.

School - 2100 students, public, maybe 20-25 APs? Idk.

This year I'm taking
AP Human Geography - 1-2 hours/week
AP Calculus BC - 0.5-1 hour/day
AP Spanish Language - 1-1.5 hours/day

(I'm also taking IB English, History, and Physics which have similar workloads to AP)
IB English - 1.5-2 hours/day
IB History - 2.5-3 hours/day
IB Physics - 0.5-1 hour/day.

1.6k students, one of the top public schools in the nation, here is my workload each night:

AP Environmental: 20 minutes.
AP Latin Literature: 20 minutes.
AP Literature: 20 minutes.
AP US History: 15 minutes.
AP Stat: 10 minutes.

Yeah, we barely get any work, but grading is difficult.

Heh, then my school's even more obscure. 1200 students, and one of our three APs is AP Art History.

(The other two are Calc and US History)

I'm in 5 AP's right now, and my school offers all of them. We have about 2100 kids.

I'm in: =] =] =]

AP Calculus BC- This is like sooo easy for me, I don't have to study. I usually have 20-30 minutes of book assignment each night. Easiest class ever.
AP English- 50-60 minutes of novel reading a night.
AP Psychology- Our book is divided into modules, and we usually have to read each 15-20 page module in 2 nights. I take serious notes, so it takes a couple hours.
AP Latin-Vergil- I don't do **** in this class.
AP US-History- Usually 60-70 pages of reading a night with no notes. An hour?
AP Physics- We've never had homework and we've never had a test. We are graded on our attendance and the final exam.

Student population: about 2000~, Offers about 20 AP classes.

I'm taking 6 APs: Bio, Envir. Sci., Eco, Psych, Eng. Lit, Calc BC.

Homework per night on average: No more than 1 hour total. This, however, does not include the studying for tests/quizzes, which can sometimes take up about 5 hours for one subject. In the AP classes I have taken, hw never takes long.

~2000 students, something like 15 AP classes

taking:
chem: over two weeks, something like 8 hrs.
calc: 1-2 hrs. a day, unless you took AB the year before, so it's more like none =)
lit: averages 1-2 hrs. a day, but no one actually reads so it's probably less
ushistory: average 2 hrs. a day
spanish: at most it's half an hour, usually nothing

i have two other academic classes which add another hour on, so about 4-5 hrs. a night for homework.

You couldn't pay me to take 5 AP courses. I prefer self-study. Much easier, no pressure, and I learn more. Anyway, I am currently self-studying AP Psych, which I love, and I am enrolled in AP World--I don't care much for it, and I could do more, but I basically put everything off until the night before the test. Works everrry time.

Next year, as a junior, I'm taking AP Calculus, AP English, and APUSH (most likely). I'll probably self-study AP Gov't (U.S. and Comp.) and/or Economics (Macro and Micro), depending on what combination of lazy and motivated I am. Oh, and AP Studio Art over the summer, which will just be fun.
