Too bad we don't have this exam in Canada, otherwise I'd rank first (as long as the competition doesn't include Quebec! )

I've taken National Spanish Exam. 2nd in State for Level 2. Pero je voudrais francais tambien (my tex-mex french.)

i got commended last year. The award was a "Certificat de Reussite".

There's also a Nat. Spanish Exam for levels 1-6. I just took it this week, so I don't know my scaled scores or percentages. But, the %age I got correct was 80% Achievement, 76% Proficiency (for level 5/AP) And, yes, these tests are WAY harder than the CB's SAT IIs and APs.

I got 14th in the nation last year. My friend was like 2nd or something. She went to the national awards ceremony. And got a free folder.
