Math

Today, I was going over my schedule for next year, and I plan to major in some business-related fields, and I was wondering if taking honors math will make a significant impact on my chances of getting into a business school. I know that I can easily get a solid A in a regular class, but I also know that my schedule is pretty tight and I don't know if I will be able to get an A in honors math with it. Would switching another class for honors math really make my transcript seem more rigorous or would it not matter as much as long as I get an A in regular math and the rest of my schedule seems fairly challenging?

No matter what cookie cutter answer adcoms like to give you, small differences in courses really, really doesn't matter.

Evaluating thousands of applicants, they are not going to notice nuances like slight course differences and say "Hey! This kid took a slightly challenging math course!(in your high school they know nothing about) He should get in!"

Just do what is advantageous to getting to higher GPA. Class rigor is highly overrated.

I disagree, when they're between 100 different people who all have similar credentials, who are they going to pick, the person with the most rigorous courseload will obviously win out over someone without it.
