At my school 100% of the IB students do English HL. The state requires four years of English so both years might as well be IB.
About 90% do History HL. It's one of the more challenging courses but our students tend to do well.
Next year we're opening up a Chemistry SL course, but previously the only science options were Physics HL and Biology HL. Since people tend to struggle with the science external assessments a lot of people take the HL course but test at SL level, instead deferring the third HL to an elective like Psychology or Theatre.
The vast majority do Math (either Methods or Studies) and foreign language at SL.
Some folks also end up with four HLs or seven total classes.
