Garamond is Times New Roman's hot sister

Does anybody else think so? It looks extremely similar to TNR but subtly more elegant. My only complaint is that the italics are harder to read, but it still looks so much better. It probably won't make TNR into the next Comic Sans, but still. I do all my essays in Garamond now. =)

NOO!!!! Garamond's thin a's and e's make it look like the type of font they should only use for Nathaniel Hawthorne novels. TNR's hot sister is Bell MT, a font on Microsoft Works.

Some other fonts > Garamound > Times New Roman > Comic Sans

I use Bodoni MT, though it looks weird on systems after XP.

I don't really like Times New Roman and Arial... I do prefer Garamond though
My favorite is Book Antiqua in 10.5 font.. I set it as my automatic font

I think I've changed my favorite fonts/font sizes every year... last year it was Arial Unicode MS in 10 point font, paragraph spaced as "exactly."

I used to use Georgia constantly and wanted to throw up at the sight of TNR, but now I'm wavering... and have been using TNR. Eep! And, no, Times New Roman's sexy sister is Times New Romance. Look it up.

I use Georgia on almost everything I write. It looks a lot better than TNR.

That's really good; I never bothered to see what Book Antiqua looked like at a smaller font.

My fave is Vrinda. It's not on every computer. Outside of that, I download fonts. Hammer keys is really cool.

I hate Courier new. It's so ugly.

If you guys like fonts, check this out: http://bellethellama.files.wordpress...aces_large.jpg

I used Georgia or Veranda on everything I write unless I'm forced to use some other font.

Calibri in 11 point, single or 1.15 spaced, is growing on me. At first I really hated it, but it's growing on me. I'm learning to love sans-serif fonts. Also, please watch this. Ridiculously hilarious if you are in the font-know.
