Is an average GPA of 3.3 high for a high school?

Does anyone know the national average?

It seems like 3.3 is high for an average. That's my schools average. I'm in the top 3rd and I have a 3.6.

it depends where you are at. at a tough private school a 3.3 is very good, at some public school where a drooling retard can pass with all As then it is not very good at all.

I go to a tough private school in honolulu. My school is considered top 5 in the state.

I'm trying to gage if my school is really good or not and if that effects the perception of my class rank (top 3rd, ranking is in percentile).

Your 3.3 ranks you in the top 3rd percentile? If you have a large class, then that is pretty good.

Not at my school. A 3.3 at my school puts you in the top 22%
