I used REA--it's pretty detailed, but I skimmed most of it and focused on the areas I didn't remember that well. I thought the tests in the book were actually harder than the real AP test last year, but maybe that was just me. I got a 5, but I also had a great book/teacher. I heard Princeton Review's is good, too. Check the SAT/ACT/AP Test prep forum.

If you guys are using the Brinkley Text book this year, like i did last year (as a junior), then you need this site, a girl at my school made it, it saved me, i ended up with an A in the class and a 4 on the AP exam. Helps out with tests and the AP test, and DBQ's. It'll probably also help even if you aren't using Brinkley (the authors name btw) http://www.angelfire.com/realm3/ap_history/notes.htm
wow! 100th post

I used the book by Amsco. It was extremely helpful and I got through the course only reading the reviewbook and got a 5 on the AP.

I'm with wbm777 on this one. Both sections of APUSH last year got the AMSCO review books and I used it all year. I stopped reading the chapters all the way through after the first few and I relied on the review book. It helped- I got a 5 on the AP exam.

amsco is really awesome. I definitely, definitely recommend it. PR I also like because it has key terms in bold and provides a more general overview.

5 Steps to a 5 is amazing. It's a new review book company but it's excellent and I highly recommend it.
