Heck yeah! I overhead his friend telling him to talk to me...only if I could just coax him just a little.
May the charm be with you, Qube.

My mom is funny. She's impatient with this whole waiting game. We got a letter from UMass saying they couldn't make a decision until the first semester ended. She said that because the Envelope was so thin she got scared that they were going to tell us I was rejected.

Guys!!!! My school is actually hosting an information session for an OOS school!! I don't think there's ever been one at my school for OOS schools. This one is for Boston College.

It's pretty exciting. Normally they only have FSU, FAU, UF, UCF, USF, FGCU, etc. I wonder if anyone will go to it.

One thing I don't really care for (wouldn't say detest) is how my school pushes for in state colleges. USF is coming this week or next week. Go Bulls!
But if WUSTL came...I'd be the first one on that list for sure n

Yes! I know exactly what you mean. Mine only has information for in state schools. All of the scholarship information is only for kids staying in-state. I asked my friend who's from NY if the schools up there do the same thing, and she said no.

^^Dang, that really stinks.
While my school does stress SUNYs/CUNYs, our counselors are open to OOS schools and encourage kids to apply to schools all over the US. Funny you bring up WUSTL, they have reps coming to my school this week. My school also designates one day out of the week for every week in October and sets up a mini college fair type thing where reps from like 15 or so different schools come. They're mostly local schools (northeast area), but every once and a while a school like WUSTL shows up.

Eh, I feel like if they were desperate that it'd be easier to get into UM/UF/FSU. Maybe they get some sort of funding for kids who stay in-state.
