...just that I'm average at a variety of things. I'm still a high school senior, but my likes for different school subjects have fluctuated over the math. One year, I would like math. The next year, I would like English and history and totally hate math. Then I would like science and rebuke the rest of the subjects. Then the cycle repeats again. My strengths and weaknesses are unclear.

I've taken 8 AP classes in different subjects to gauge my likes and dislikes, and so far, nothing's stood out to me. I don't want to end up like "those people" who switch their majors three or four times in college. Right now, my chosen major (for college apps.) is chemical engineering, but I'm doubtful that it will stay like that.

Anyone else like this/can offer help?

On average, people do switch there major 3-4 times. No one expects you to really know 100% what you want your future to hold. So if chem E is the current front runner and you decide that biochem or english or interpretive dance is more your thing so be it. My one concern would be that, as ChemE is a very intense major, it may not be as good as other non-eng majors in terms of exploring various interests.

That's what I'm worried about. I kind of want to be undeclared when I first go to college and take whatever classes given to me.
