Medical extracurriculars

I'm relatively new to CC and I was wondering what good medical extracurriculars are out there. I volunteer at the hospital currently but I can't find much else to do, Thanks in advance!

Volunteering at a hospital, hospice, nursing home, etc. are all decent choices as long as you are in contact with people and not filing papers in an office somewhere. Just know that whatever you do in high school doesn't really matter unless you're applying for a combined degree program. (It could matter if you continue volunteering at the same place from high school to college, but I think you have to be "moving up the ranks".

Blood drives are an easy medical thing to get into. Advocacy is something. Go attend/participate in/help organize ralleys for medical topics. You could go talk to your city council and see if their health coordinators have room for a volunteer.

It's actually pretty convenient that in my school, we have a Medical Explorers Club. You should think about founding one.
