Advice on UG Education

I have posed similar questions on other forums on College Confidential, but I am looking for advice specifically from anyone with medical school experience (current doctors, admission counselors, etc.).

I am a high school senior, and I am torn about where to go for my UG education. I have narrowed down my choices to Washington University in St. Louis and Baylor University. At Washington U, I would pay full COA for all four years; at Baylor, I will receive a full tuition scholarship and then some. My family could potentially afford Washington U, but my parents are both older than 55, and they already have debt/loans to deal with without worrying about college tuition. I am fully aware that Washington U would offer me more in terms of prestige, research opportunities, etc. if/when I apply to medical school, but I also know that Baylor would offer me more in terms of individualized advising (through their Honors College), a debt-free education, etc. I am also fairly confident that I would be near, if not at, the very top of the class at Baylor, but I would have hundreds of other motivated and intelligent medical school applicants to contend with at Washington U.

Assuming that I would be equally happy as a student at either school (which is fundamentally true), which would you recommend?

Any and all advice is appreciated.

Baylor sounds like a really good idea. It is a great pre-med school.
