Just got back from parents w/e at Hillsdale Col. What a beautiful school that is. The new Grewcock Center is almost completed and will truly be a showpiece. All the town restaurants had put out the red carpet and there were lots of "Parent Specials" in the local shops.

Took the official tour with Twins 1 & 2 and the tour guide was a very nice ("completely hot, Mom!") young lady.


DH and I stayed in Adrian, about 35 minutes away, since he had to make a business call, but all the kids stayed at the college with S's friends. D had a fantastic time in Benzing Hall where all the girls met her, showed her their rooms, essentially had a "girls weekend." Boys played U. Frisbee and went bowling, then had "Feast." They all hang out with their shirts off and eat high fat meats from a grill outside the dorm! Well, ok then.

I remember reading this last year and wondering if I'd ever find out if you were kidding about "Feast". Well, now I know that you weren't kidding.

Our son is a freshman and absolutely thrilled with his classes, faculty, and dorm neighbors - and it's been 2 whole weeks! We're looking forward to Parents Weekend - 2008 and seeing you there. Thanks for all of the info this past year.
