Well, I don't remember exactly what was on the exam, but it seemed as if there was an emphasis on non-European history. Have you taken AP European History? You might be more interested in that class and you would probably do very well on that exam.

My teacher says that every region is equal in terms of what you need to know.

So, you need to know Asian history as well as you know European history and African history. Only a certain amount of European history can be included on the exam.

Asian history is like a root canal for me at this point I do not want to ever have to do anything history related again.

@Awflapjackz you're a freshie? O.o cool! Yeah, I'd recommend it I mean, you're already studying your butt off for the test, might as well get all you can out of it. A lot of schools require a lot of subjects tests anyways. I'm taking the subject test as well, june 2, and frankly, I looked at the subject test questions and they look easier than the AP exam!! Anyone else doing the same?

Is it bronze? I think...

And julieannab, sadly I am. :x And I have looked at practice questions and I have gotten many of them correct without using old notes. I have decided to take it. What can it hurt? It's only $33.

You should generally take your SAT II's after you complete the highest level class you plan on taking for that subject, that way, the information is still fresh in your mind. So unless you plan on taking any more world history classes, go for it!

As for the question, I have a strong urge to say Brazil, although Haiti also seems possible.

It's Brazil, but Brazil only imported like 1% more slaves than the West Indies (Cuba + Haiti + some other islands in that area) did, but when Brazil is compared to the individual islands, Brazil would have more slaves imported.

Good luck guys! Write your essays well. That's the main thing that I've noticed that really influences the grade you get. Truthfully, if you have played a lot of games like Sid Meier's Civilization series, it really does help a lot to spark an interest in history.
