Do colleges not like Comparative Government and Politics/United States Government and Politics? Would they prefer other APs?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Probably APUSh since its more challenging

The thing is AP Comp Gov and U.S. Gov are 1 semester courses and considered less difficult than history courses/Social science courses such as AP Econ, AP World, AP Euro, AP U.S. History etc. Some colleges give credit and others don't so you should look into your college choices AP credit system.

As long as you're challenging yourself, you should be fine. There's no real preference

It's fairly easy to tell what colleges "like" based on how generous they are for each course in awarding credit. You can just google a College's name + "AP Credit Catalog" and get a nice table/chart from most Universities detailing their equivalency. Now, of course, all Colleges prefer taking AP as opposed to not taking AP, but if you're deciding between AP courses, a nifty idea is to look at what will net you the most credit in College (assuming of course you do well, which by the fact that you're on College Confidential probably means you will).
