Background:
I'm a sophomore currently signed up to take anatomy and physiology next year and I was wondering if I should switch to AP Bio. Biology freshman year was a bit of a struggle- my middle school didn't prepare me for the discourse of my new high school. However, I have greatly improved this year. 3.8-3.85 GPA for every quarter (translates to semester, too). All classes are honors with one AP this year (and last). This year in chemistry I got an A- the first semester due to an A- 1st quarter and an A 2nd quarter (requiring a 100% on the final for an A which wasn't going to happen). And 3rd quarter another solid A in chem. Fourth quarter still has a few days left, and an A- is certainly possible. I got a perfect on the last test, but a pop quiz that I was unprepared for certainly widened the gap in my "total point" score.

So what do you suggest? I'm not too concerned, I just want to be challenged next year. Taking 3 APs as it is next year.

Take Bio, just buy The Princeton Review's Prep Book and another one.
Every time you cover a new lesson go to your prep book read it until you understand all of the concepts. Before a test, you can take some practice exams at BiologyJunction. Just read the preps books and memorize each term. Wait for the new prep books, since the AP exam is going to change next year. You can do it don't worry. I skipped Honors Bio and went straight to AP Bio and got a B+\A.
