Hi!
I've been attending public school my whole life, up until this year. I was supposed to start 11th grade but I fell ill early September with a stomach infection (which took my doctors an embarrassingly long amount of time to accurately diagnose, but that's another story, haha.). I'm still recovering, and my parents don't want me to be overwhelmed by my schoolwork (also-they took me out of my four AP's which doesn't roll well with me) and considering the fact that I'm behind, so we're looking into online programs.
We're spoken with a few schools, and we're really interested in Laurel Springs (downside: expensive), The Keystone School (downside: doesn't seem like there is much teacher/student interaction) and BYU's independent study program (downside: only offers AP psychology and AP Biology)

Does anyone have experience with any of these schools, or any other nice online programs? We're leaning toward Keystone right now, but neither my parents nor myself want to sign up for a program then realize it's not worth it.

Another issue is that my school has a really weird policy regarding accepting transferred credits, so there's a big chance I'll just complete high school through one of these programs. If it helps, I'm in really good academic standing.

Florida Virtual School Global has a program for out of state residents. I think it is pretty flexible- at your own rate so you can take as many classes as you can handle now- and you won't be behind when you start- and use the summer to catch up. It might work for you.

Florida Virtual School is excellent. They have top notch programs and the teachers are very helpful.

We looked at Florida's Virtual School and it was a bit too costly . That's why we're leaning toward Keystone, since the cost is a bit more reasonable.
