Any other Keystone users?

Hi!

I am a keystone student and I know aplicannot and wartsandall are too.

What are you taking?

I am taking:
AP Literature
AP Gov
Pre-Cal/Trig
Spanish III

So far nothing is too difficult but it does take a lot of time and I am behind, but mostly because I've spent the majority of my time this past month working on my apps. I don't think it will be too difficult to catch up.

Does anyone else find that sometimes the assignments are too vague in what they want?

I go to school at Keystone too!:> Who do you have for precalculus/trig? I'm behind too...
I just joined at the beginning of October so I'm still catching up.

What year are you?

My pre-cal/trig instructor is Mike Stanek.
What courses are you taking?

O lol, I just saw your comment saying that you already knew I was haha

O, I'm a junior. I don't think we are in any of the same classes though.

I have Mr. Stanek for AP Statistics. I'm taking:

AP World History (FML)
AP Statistics
AP Economics
AP Biology
Contemporary World Issues
Creative Writing

However, I think Wartsandall and I are on the Comprehensive program whereas you, corey91, are on the independent program. I'm not really sure what the difference is, but there must be one because Comprehensive costs more money.

Nothing is that difficult. AP Biology moves VERY quickly after the first unit, and science is weak for me. AP World History has a soulcrushing workload but is not otherwise difficult. Everything else is easy and takes only a few hours a week. AP Statistics is easy but time consuming, with a lot of tricky questions. AP Economics has tricky concepts but the work for the class is very easy. All in all, I'm spending about 15 hours a week on all of my schoolwork (maybe 20 on a tough week... MAYBE) and then another 16 on AP World (don't ask).

Yep I'm independant, I am only supplementing with the classes and I am still a homeschooler whereas you two are apart of the school as normal students.

Have you gotten all of your applications in? I know you were appling to some prestigious schools. I got all of mine in and now I am just left here to wait.

I've only done Stanford, Yale, and the University of Pittsburgh. Everything else is RD so I still have a ways to go. I have pretty much everything finished and submitted, though, except for half a dozen random financial aid things, FAFSA and the Mid-Year Report (which I can't do until January anyways), and four supplements (about 10 essays). Then I have scholarship applications left. So I have the bulk of my essay writing to do, but otherwise I am almost entirely finished.

Hey, I'm taking a course from keystone as well. How do our grades in the course factor into our midyear report? The website said that a transcript will be issued only when you have completely finished, but won't colleges want to know how you're doing? Also, if I do report grades, do I report the grades I have received up to this point or the grades in the first half of the course? Any advice would be much appreciated.
