I'm from Central VA (about an hour and a half from Howard) and the traffic towards D.C. is crazy in the morning, so I'm going to have to leave extra early.

Everyone keeps talking about Pre-Orientation. I didn't get or hear anything about Pre-Orientation and I'm STILL waiting on my financial aid package. I called and they weren't answering.

I'm going to go to pre-orientation if I decide to go to Howard. Right now I'm debating over Howard vs. Duke, but I'm still waiting on financial aid to make my final decision.

Did anyone get information for pre-orientation? Dates, times??

^^No! It seems everyone else got Pre-Orientation info. If I do go, it has to be the May one, because I graduate around the same time as the June one. Can someone tell which forms to send in to Howard for Financial Aid, they say I am missing stuff. I don't know which forms to download.

Nevermind..I was selected for verification. I have a feeling they did this to me because I am black! Ugh......

LOL... they got you too. I'm assuming that you already know what forms you need to send in.

Also, you can download the registration form for Pre-Orientation offline, I can post the link if you all need it.

That's no fair. No one I know is able to go to the May one. I'm going to be all alone. Yupp, I got an email (YES AN ACTUAL EMAIL LOL) stating which forms I needed. At the bottom it says, "Fax them to us immediately."

My question is when were they going to bother to tell me? I had to bug them and boom, "you're application was selected for verification."

I have not been told aabout pre-orientation. Is this different from Open House?

^^Very different. You like spend the night and get tours and stuff and take placement tests or w/e. I only read one girl's experience from last year and it seemed like she had a lot of fun.
