I'm sending my application packet on the 1st.

When you applied online, did you pay by credit card?

did you send in the information (letter of recs, test scores) seperatelY?

I just wrote my essay in sort of a story telling them about me and what i have been through.

Yes i payed online with a credit card

Yes you have to send in everything else seperately.

Good luck to you. Wish me luck, i hope i get a scholarship. what other schools are you applying to? Is Howard your first choice?

Hey, does your online application status change when you're mailed your decision letter? Has anyone received their decision letter besides Qt07, and if so when was your entire application complete according to the Howard website and when did you get your letter?

I don't know.. but I got accepted and I also got the legacy scholarship. They said mine was completed on like the 31st of october. I got my acceptance letter I think on the 5th of december. Congratulations and good luck everyone.

some people sent me messages askin what are my statz:
and my stats are:
GPA: 3.5
but im in Honors and AP Classes
Im good at softball (varsity all 4 years..pitcher n center fielder)
ACT: 22
I go to a Catholic School
I do volunteer and community service work
I had good recommendations and my essay was good
my dad went to Howard and alot of other family members

and no, i didnt get any money...i've heard that howard rarely gives out money unless u score really high on the ACT or SAT, whicheva one u took...

and im gonna major in Business and minor in fashion merchandising

and im secretary of NHS, secretary of Student council, and the VP of Student Council..so all those leadership positions helped me as well.

My sister submitted her online application on October 28th for Early Action notification by Dec. 24th, but still hasn't heard back yet. She is getting real anxious. What should she do?

well she should hear back soon...probably in the next week or so...cuz the deadline for Early action was November 5th right? and alot of people submit their apps at the last minute so they probably still have alot to go through...did she get that lil card in the mail sayin that they received her application?
