Male/Female ratio

We visited Howard University last summer. My D was turned off by the male-female ratio. It's 70 percent female. Has anyone heard anything about how that affects student life?

it shouldnt b/c howard isnt an isolated campus so theres plenty of men walking around! its on one of the busiest avenues!

Even though females outnumber males, I think the whole ratio thing is overblown.
