I just found out I got in today! It's the first school I've gotten into. It's kind of funny, because this morning I wasn't sure if I had applied, because I never sent in any recommendations, since I decided to apply rather late, but when I checked the mail this evening....

But yeah, I'm glad to have gotten in!!

I applied RD but it took a couple weeks for them to recieve all of my stuff. Once that happened I got a letter about a week later.

did you apply online?
if you did you should have gotten a number and made a pin. if not just call monday and inquire about your status. good luck.

Does anyone know how to go about getting anyone of the listed scholarships on the website? I tried calling today and no one picked up. I qualify for the transfer scholarship but do you think it would have gotten with my acceptance letter or would they send it later?

i don't really know about the scholarship, however i've also had trouble getting someone on the phone, but you should keep trying to call. I emailed them a question once and didn't get a response for almost 3 weeks.

Aww! Congratualations.

I did call I AM LEGEND lol. I called like 5 different numbers almost 50 billion times and no one picked up. I left a message and no one called me back lol. I mean how can there be so many numbers for financial aid and not one pick up?

I'm gonna call every second now until they become annoyed.

When did you call? did you try calling in the in the morning? If you're having that much trouble you should try emailing them, you might have better luck than I did. I'm interested in that transfer scholarship too, so I'll try emailing them as well. I'll let you know if I get a response.

hey walcott i called and got some information on the transfer scholarship. You can't apply for it, but they consider every applicant who meets the requirements. Since we both seem to meet the requirements, I assume we're both under consideration. There are only 15 of these scholarships, and I was told if you did not receive any information about the scholarship by April 1st you probably weren't offered one. So we just have to wait and hope for the best.

Congrats to all who got accepted! I applied for Fall '09 as a transfer student and am waiting for the result. But I am worried because I am an Int'l student too so it could make things complicated. Hope I get in!

i got in WOOT WOOT! Even though it was a back up school im kind of considering it.
if i dont get accepted into george washington or american then its between howard and nc state....i think im leaning towards howard though

I just applied Howard but I did it pretty late (like February 13). I hope I still have a chance of getting in...
