I probably didn't get the transfer scholarship, but I just checked online today and I did get my financial aid reward. Right now I have to pay for school out of pocket now, so any aid is good aid.

I'm so confused right now. I don't understand the verification worksheet. Does anyone know if you have to send those requested documents or do you just have to make corrections on FAFSA.

I AM LEGEND how did you find out about you financial aid award?

you have to send the verification worksheet and make whatever corrections you need also on FAFSA. howard sent me an email with the verification sheet. i have to return it to them before i can get my financial aid reward. hope that helps!

I understand now. I finally got through to financial aid and I faxed all the documents they needed. Now I have to wait a week or two and see if I actually get that scholarship or any aid.

I'm p-i-s-s-e-d though Howard didn't send me a letter or anything. I found out on Bison web and I didn't know that I could access that until I AM LEGEND said something about it.

i'm sorry you had to go through that. they sent me an email about it like a week ago...i haven't had any problems with howard administration so far lol it's kinda funny with all the rumors i hear, but my experience has been fine

Well, I just checked my online status and it says "Inst Acceptance (offer)"!

I figure that means I'm accepted but what does the 'Inst' and 'offer' mean?

does anyone know when housing arrangements will be made for incoming new students. i've been checking BIsonWeb but nothing. I really want to get into the quad, i'm so anxious to know

I come bearing good news transfer students...


In two weeks we'll find out if any one of us recieved the transfer scholarship. The lady in charge e-mailed me back and said that if you've recieved the transfer scholarship you'll recieve a package via Fed Ex.

I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. I want this so bad. It pays full tuition and mandatory fees which is amazing.
