Did anybody get their financial aid packages yet? I personally didn't apply to Howard, but my sister did and she's still waiting. She was fortunate enough to get the Legacy Scholarship, but we're both hoping that she gets at least some more aid. Anybody?

I'm having so many problems with financial aid right now. I didn't even get a letter telling me anything was wrong, months later I found out on Bison web. I'm so aggravated right now. My parents messed up their tax returns and now they have to fix it or else I won't get any money at all. I know I have all the requirements for the transfer scholarship but I'm really fed up with Howard. Like I want to go and I'm sending my enrollment fee before the month ends but they are so disorganized. I found out I got in, in December and still my financial aid crap is not straightned out. This all better be worth it lol.

If your sister got the legacy scholarship I'm sure that's all she's getting. I heard they're sending out more information on financial either this week but I know by the end of the month if there isn't any problems, your sister should know in the following weeks if she got any extra money.

Walcott I hope that you're problems are resolved soon. I can understand a little how you feel, but I realized that with only 15 transfer scholarships I had a better chance of winning the lottery than getting a scholarship. In my experience with financial aid it hasn't been that they are disorganized, but pretty slow. Even though things are slow they're going pretty smoothly, I don't know maybe its because they deal with thousands of students. I don't how housing works but I sent a housing application and fee in about a month ago and still have no idea where I'm staying. When do we find out about that?

Um...I don't know. I sent mine in too. I'm actually going to visit on Tuesday so I'll let you know what happened. I'll ask about that too. Haha I paid my housing fee first but I still haven't paid my enrollment fee...I know it's backwords but whatever. I'm going to pay it when I go there. Anyway, so I am Legend you're going to Howard?

Yeah I'm going to Howard paid my enrollment fee about a month ago when I sent in my housing application. I hope when you visit it's what you envisioned. By the way what's your major? I'm a history major.

I really do hope it's what I envisioned, if it's not im still going there. It's a really good school and I'll benefit from the area because of my major.

It's political science, so we'll have alot to talk about lol. I was worried about meeting people as a transfer student, so now at least I'll kind of know someone even though I've never seen your face lol.

We should keep in contact with each other...I'm so excited for the fall.
