| Undergraduate College Admission-Transcript and SAT Score Not Available Till Deadline
My USA Citizen daughter currently study in India, Cambridge Board A-Level, is planning to do Undergraduate study in USA.
She will be appearing in AS (Junior Year, XI) and A-Level (Senior, XII) in November 2013 and result will be out in February 2014.
A-Level is rigors curriculum. Due to rigors curriculum, she has to focus on A-Level examination and could not appear for SAT exams till A-Level examination finish. She will appear for SAT examination in January 2014 and result will be out in February 2014.
Now most of colleges have deadlines December 2013/January 2014 for Fall Session 2014 starting August 2014.
My Question:
Can she apply for these colleges without transcripts and SAT Score and submit A-Level transcript and SAT score in February 2014?

Hello USAUGStudy, A Levels compensate for the Subject tests at most Universities, but she will still have to sit her SAT I.

@USAUGStudy:
She can give SAT/ACT and SAT IIs during her AS or A levels. I my self was a student of CIE and did A Levels(gave June 2012 exams). So, I dont't think that would be difficult!
Regarding her transcript: You have to send a transcript of 9th, 10th, 11th(AS Level) and 12th(A Levels) midterm examination, along with predicted grades(by teachers) for A Levels.
I did exactly the same thing. Only difference is that I gave my A Levels in June instead of November like your daughter.
And even if your daughter is doing A Levels, SAT IIs are required at most of the Top Universities.

Well, I think the A Level replacing the SAT II thing works only for those who sit for them in the October-November session.
Wooh! Results will be out soon!

Hi, i'm in a CBSE school here in India. I was wondering whether the admission officers look at your 12th half yearly exams or your entire mid-term report, including the weekly tests?

Correct me if I am wrong, but they ask for just the mid-terms report and not the weekly test report.

I hope you're right, man. I messed up my weekly tests. I don't know who to ask about this. My counsellor isn't sure either.

I have 90+ in my 9th and 10th and I expect the same in 12th. But my 11th and 12th half sem marks are absolutely terrible !!! As I had thought of going for the Jeee earlier , I didn't care squat about 11th. And during 12th half sem, I had go out for a cricket commentary gig in delhi. I was always under the impression that only 10th and 12th are counted. I'm also very confident I'll get a good score in SATs. What do I do ? can it be covered up in explanations ? I write fiction , I can cook up a pretty good story can it be covered ?
