I applied to HKU and HKUST to pursue an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, sometime in December 2011. I'm yet to hear from them.

I scored 92.2%:-
Physics: 91,
Chemistry: 84,
Mathematics: 95,
Computer Science: 97,
English: 94,
in the final CBSE Exam. I have decent ECs and pretty good recommendatiom letters from teachers, including the HOD of the Comp Sci. Dept.
And an IELTS 8.0 band score.

Please chance me if possible. Also, if anyone knows how much the cutoff goes up to for these colleges(for engg. especially), then please do post it here.

As for your chances, I honestly have no idea since I never looked into these colleges.

I think you definitely have a good chance. My friends with much lower stats got in.

hahha, i've checked the website, and it says that we are on the waitlist which will show the result at the end of August.
I'm kinda giving up already since we have to put the deposit before may.
I guess HKU has to wait for those Chinese students who just finished their tests.

However, I already got the admitted letter from HKUST! I guess you have to ask.
