I got a really dismal reaction from my school

When my dad informed my teacher about my intention of going to the States for college, she was really uncooperative. She talked about how all the teachers are busy all the time and how a girl who applied last year hired a counselor from outside(alluding to all those Study Abroad Companies). Lazy people!
I can't really fight with them as the consequences might not be pleasant. SO should I just take her advice(even though it just feels wrong)?

she was really uncooperative.

What do you mean? Is she refusing to write a recommendation letter?

Anyway, shame on you for calling teachers lazy people.

I find it a tad hard to believe that EVERY single teacher at your school might be busy all the time. You say your dad informed "your" teacher, so that is just 1 teacher, right? I am sure at some point of time you thought that, "I am going to ask THIS teacher to write my recomm". Go talk to that teacher. I am sure there are some teachers that will support you, you must have a favourite teacher. Go ask her! Moreover, those Study Abroad Companies won't write your recomm or send your transcript, so you have to convince your school. Consider talking to your principal.
