| I was accepted, and will be attending in the fall.
I'm not sure how many they've accepted, as I've actually only talked to one other person who was accepted. |

| My daughter received a very nice and encouraging rejection letter from IU MT Theatre Dept. on Saturday. The letter said they had about 10 places for the MT class. The letter also strongly encouraged her to pursue a BA in Theatre at IU. |

| Wonderful school....okay, i am a little biased since I am an IU grad. Will she have the opportunity to audition for MT next year???? I wish they had the BFA program last year!! D is currently a freshman in a MT major elsewhere....one year too late for us. Have you visited the campus yet? |

| I was accepted into the program and will be attending next fall.
I was speaking with George Pinney and I believe they are only looking for 10-12 students for the program. |

| also accepted... i was also accepted into the bfa for next fall, but i am deciding between iu, penn state, and emerson. hey guys who were accepted, do you have facebooks? what made you decide on iu? where else were you accepted? im having the most difficult tiem with this audition!
and for those of you wondering, prof pinney accepted 7 incoming freshman into the program for this fall, along with 7 transfers, so quite a big class he said for next fall. usually it will be 10-12 total. |

| Our s. was accepted at nine of ten schools -- but chose IU even over Miami, where there were only three guys and three girls accepted, because he wanted the whole college experience. I wish we lived in Indiana, though, money-wise. He told me that of the 15 in the BFA class, five were transfer students. I don't know how many are guys and how may girls. He knows one guy. That's all. |

| The BFA class has 13 students. 7 men and 6 women. 6 are incoming freshman and 7 are transfer students.
Mamalot: I think your son and I went to University of Michigan's summer program last summer. In fact, I think I'm that one guy he knows! Tell Marty that Matt says he has to get a facebook! |

| I hope everyone who is at IU in MT does love it! My D loved George Pinney and his focus but made the difficult decision to go somewhere else. Wow I had no idea how lucky she was to be accepted. Her friends who go to IU in other fields choked when she said she made another decision. Gina I can see why you chose IU over your other choices. You can get an education in many different ways at IU..it is a real college experience. George also feels it is VERY important to be a well rounded person in many academic areas unlike CM who is totally a conservatory (3 academic classes). Congrats to all of you! We will never know about the road untaken.... |

We feel your pain! Hearts sunk here too when we heard calls went out and our phone didn't ring. I guess time will tell. If it is any consolation I did hear that last year some received phone calls and some only received letters of acceptance. At this point we can only wait and hope. |

| I received an e mail from IU today stating that they are still deliberating and that letters will go out some time next week. |
