Questions about international admission, plus "exploratory" major!

hi (: I'm an international student planning to apply IUB next month. (when my october sat score is updated)

I heard that international students should get higher sat scores than those of English natives in order to get accepted.

is it really true? it seems that all of applicants writing here get more than 1800 on sat...

my sat score was about 1500 on a practice test, and i'm worried whether it's too low. (plus, my gpa is 3.6 uw) i hope it would be okay since i'm not applying to Kelly.

Moreover, is there any disadvantage in choosing "exploratory" instead of specific majors? i haven't decided what to major in college yet, and was thiking about it..

Thank you for reading my incoherent questions! and i will look forward to your reply!
