this shows on the first page when i log in, btw im IN IUB already, just wondering whether this means kelley?

i see that if u dont meet a criteria, u can still partition for direct admission. do i need to fill out that form and mail it in?

Yes, this appears to indicate you are in at Kelley.

Normally, if you are not a direct admit, your school will say "University Division"

I think we're getting confused here.

I see the same thing on applyonline.indiana.edu/ ( I've already been admitted to IUB as well, on November 18th)

On my student center however it says: "University Div Pre-Business"

I don't think I got into Kelley. Also, I haven't gotten any verification from Kelley at all. They haven't sent me any email, phone call, or letter.

If the school says "university division" then you are not a direct admit (at least not yet), and if the school says "kelley school of business" then you are.

I'm not guaranteeing anything; this is based upon what calcruzer said.

Also, you can still enter kelley even if you're not a direct admit. This may seem less than ideal, but it's not the end of the world.

tho that appears on the first page (status) of my IUB account, i DID NOT receive any emails, emails, or phone calls telling me that im a direct admit. i was accepted thru email on nov 25, and received my admission package in a week or so. fun employee..that info i posted WAS NOT found in my student center, but in my original IUB app account( i have not checked my student center yet, some problems loggin in.)

Winston, C.--all I can figure is that the mail to you is quite slow--or your letter got lost--or the email address you gave them was entered incorrectly or given to them incorrectly.

I would go to the admissions website and recheck both your mail address and email address.

Also, I'm wondering if this may be why you are having trouble logging in to the regular Onestart site.

P.S. My son had this exact same problem when he applied to Emory. They entered his email into their system incorrectly, then sent him a email asking for more information for his application, then dropped his application (rejected him) because he never responded--so believe me, errors like this do occur.

FYI, I just checked the student center for the first time, and it says im in the University Div for pre-business...Considering I called Kelley and asked personally if i had been given Direct admit and was given a YES, then i don't beleive the student center indicates much at all

Actually, JaredW, you are incorrect. If they have you down as University Division then it means they either haven't updated your status yet or else they didn't correctly change it to Kelley School of Business as they should have.

You should contact the school to make sure the correction gets made, since the "Student Center" data is for all intensive purposes the data that is used by the school for tracking all of its students' statuses.
