Kelley direct admission-petition

Am i good enough to get in to Kelley direct if i petitioned?

Direct admission requires
"# ACT composite score of 29 or SAT composite of 1270 (including only math and critical reading sections)
# Top 10 percent of high school class or 3.7 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) "

I have a 1340 Sat..and 3.66 GPA...so would petitioning get me in?

It seems mathematically possible possible to raise your gpa to 3.7, or at least get very close to it, when your first quarter/semester report card comes out. I would send the petition materials after your grades come out. Also, since you are very close to 3.7, you might go ahead and get a copy of your transcript that shows 3.66. Get it now, as if your grades go down, you will have the old transcript to send them. Prepare your essay and other materials and send them a copy of the highest transcript, as you don't need an official copy of the transcript, immediately after your new grades come out. You have a good chance to get in with a 3.66 anyway (with good essay and teacher rec), but you might as well send in the transcript with the highest gpa. You have until April 1 to get the materials to Kelley, so your grades could go to 3.7 by then.
