I'm going to HKU. I think the entrance scholarship and the hksar government scholarship fund are different.. the entrance scholarship is given from hku, while the other one is from the hksar gov.
oh right, is application for hksar scholarship still open and it's fr prospective students too right....i mean you all are applying as prospective students right...could i get the link for this scholarship?....the other link lead me back to the hku students portal...yeah i already had an offer for the entrance scholarship..
You should apply for the HKSAR gov scholarship by nomination from the university you're going to. If you're going to HKU, then you should email them asking to be nominated or the scholarship. We can't apply by ourselves, I guess. Btw, are you going to HKU and where are you from ?
Well I did get selected but only with around 40% scholarship, so i declined then cuz then they said that entrance scholarship is all there is...,
Bt now i asked them to place me on waitl ist again. A friend of mine is forcing me to come with him to hku. well we'r both from pak and doing eng 3 years program.

one more thing, how did you guys do in ur A levels? mine gt way messed up.....does it make any diffrence like ruining one's chances of securing a current student scholarship...

@slr007, i did singapore's a lvl n did quite okay hmmm , i think scholarship for hk unis depends mostly on grades n co curricular activities so yr cca shud help
