Hello everyone, I am an international student that will be attending Northeastern university this fall.
Northeastern university has different payment plans managed by Sallie mae.
I contacted Sallie mae and the told me that they dont accept wire transfers which is unfortunate for me since this seemed to be the only option for me to make a payment.
So I was wondering if there was any other way for international students to make payments to the United States.
For the record, I dont have funds in any American banks and Northeastern does not accpet credit cards.

Please help me I am really worried about this.

Can you afford to pay your semester bill upfront? You are not required to use a payment plan; you can also pay Northeastern directly. Here are their payment instructions: Payment Methods Their website says that they accept both wire transfers and credit cards if you make the payment directly to Northeastern.

If you want to go through Sallie Mae, it appears that the standard two options are via debit card and check written in USD. Did you ever talk to your home bank if they are able to issue you a check in USD? My German bank was happy to do that for a fee.
