Help!

Hi guys. I'm in a bit of a bind.
Recently, I got accepted to Biola University, a private school in La Mirada California (if this helps at all). I'm currently in Korea for my Visa interview. I received my I-20 on 8/10/2012, but there's a problem...

My date of birth says 12/29/1986 when it's actually 11/12/1993!

I have no idea where they came up with that date of birth, perhaps it is a mixup of some sort... My Visa interview is scheduled for 8/16/2012, and I need my I-20 in hand at least by 8/15. Yes, I gave them a copy of my passport with the correct date of birth on it before receiving my I-20.

Can this problem be sorted out over the internet? For example, can the school just change the I-20 record and notify the US Consulate or what? I'm in a load of trouble and I'm panicking!
=[

You should be able to get this sorted out pretty quickly. (My I-20 had the wrong last name and that was fixed within a day.) Just contact the international student office at your school and they'll be able to help you.

Thanks for the reply barium. But the only problem is that it's the weekend. The only time I'll be able to contact them is tuesday, my time at 12:00. It will be monday in California. Is this something that can get sorted out that fast, that I could have my I-20 by the end of thursday?

They can correct your birthdate in the federal database immediately and fax you a copy of the new I-20. The fax obviously won't have an original signature but should be good enough for the visa interview. Worse comes to worst, you'll have to schedule another visa appointment to show your corrected I-20 with original signature.
