What will the college be looking at?

So over here we used to (stopped 5 years ago) do SATs in our 3rd year of HS (we only do 5 years) so will the college I apply for want to see my grades? They're really bad, I thought I didn't have to revise when really I did.

Also I'm currently redoing my diploma (not because I have to but instead because I want to) will I have to show them the grades for that too? They're good we'll apart from one but the problem is I only have proof of one of them as they only give one certificate out which has 1 grade on (of course mine being the worst one) and the assignment grades at the back.

So will they have to see both of these?

The general requirements are the following:

Colleges want to see your school grades (grades given in each subject at the end of the semester or the year; not your individual assignment grades though) for the last 4 years of high school.

If you have taken secondary school leaving exams (e.g. A-levels), colleges want to see the results from those. If you have taken exams at the end of "lower secondary school" (e.g. O-levels), colleges want to know those results as well.

If you are going to re-take school leaving exams that you have already taken once, colleges will probably want to see the results you got initially if you don't have your new grades yet.
