Paying the application fee

The University's site mentions the following:

The non-refundable application fee of $25.00 drawn on a prime U.S. bank or international money order made payable to "Gannon University". To pay by credit card complete the appropriate area on Gannon's International Admissions application.

Gannon University | Apply to Gannon

So, how can I pay the application fee??

It tells you right there: by credit card or international money order or a check drawn on a US bank.

Thanks for the reply. I am still confused.
Shouldn't there be like some sort of account number?? I am an international student so a cheque from US bank is not really an option, I think.

Those are all payment methods that don't require the recipient of the money to disclose their account number. Many Americans (and American institutions) don't use wire transfer because they are afraid of fraud if they did disclose their account numbers.

If you have access to a credit card, that would probably be the easiest way to make the payment. Otherwise, talk to your bank. Mine was able to give me a check drawn on a US (for a ~$50 fee...) and also an international money order.

How did you pay to take the SAT? Odds are that the same payment method would also be accepted by Gannon.

Well [just recently], I have a credit card. But, I am not applying online and the application form has no info regarding the credit card payment method.
Even If I go to a bank, then what should I say?? I mean how would they transfer the money to the University??
Will the bank give me some sort of receipt which I should then mail to the University??

I went to the bank while paying for the SAT and I had a collegeboard account and the website asked the credit card info.

Sorry for elongating the post. It's just that I am not familiar with these bank and payment stuffs.

A money order is basically a pre-paid check. You pay the full face value plus a processing fee when you purchase the money order, get a piece of paper, mail that to Goucher, and then Goucher can exchange that piece of paper for cash at their bank. At no point does your bank need to transfer money directly to the recipient.

However, not all countries have money orders. For example, the German postal service discontinued selling money orders in 2002 and to the best of my knowledge no one else in Germany is selling money orders either.

Other alternatives might be your credit card, traveller's checks [payed a few of my application fees with those], or Western Union.

Why don't you do a bit of research to figure out what your options are for international money transfer (credit card, wire transfer, traveller's checks, etc) and then email Goucher and ask if any of those would be acceptable?

I visited two banks and both of them said that a account number of the University is required. I am going to visit one bank later. But, I don't have high hopes.
