hey nepali69, you could always defer your acceptance this fall and say you want to come to spring to St.Peter's....they do that...mention some family problems or sth like that......and since you have a 1490 on the SAT and 770 on each of the subject test, plus rank in the top 5% of the class, plus have some ecs to complement your application, right a straight forward essay....straight forward essays work the best....and then you can apply ED to any college you wish to....since you are deciding between reed and lafayette;i do believe that you have a sure shot chance at both of them(if you apply ED)....now my advice;since you prefer reed apply ED there, and if you are rejected, you can apply ED to lafayette(lafayette has a rolling ED) so I guess you will not have to bother too much....with your stellar scores, i would have applied to Columbia(FU), Tufts or Wesleyan....they have top notch enginering and physics program...you may even give WUSTL a try.....With your score you are surely in at Tufts, Wesleyan, Reed,Lafayette,....and that's if you apply ED....ED acceptance rates are overtly high....like Obelrin(Rd rate-30%;ED rate-78%), Columbia-fu(rd-24%,ed46%).....do some research and definitely aim higher...i personally say apply ED to columbia or tufts......

Now onwards Tufts's offering need based aid only upto full tutition to int's students. So, it is out of my mind. After ur advice, bell of wesleyan has hust rung in my brain. I'll consider and research on that.

yes i'm who you think.....tufts does offer full ride, atleast one senior from sxc got it.......try on haverford and places that also require sat 2......ask if cornell offers fin aid,i heard they are not very generous...you may even try Washington University in St.Louis, great university and is somewhat generous to int.students, plus they are looking to enroll people with your kind of stats....if you applied RD to Wustl, you're chances would be very slim, but for ED you place significantly higher;the reason WUSTL doesn't reveal ED acceptance rate is bcoz most ppl claim that it is insanely high...try it, but make sure your application has no flaws;and one great thing about WUSTL is that it has no supplemental essays, only a simple Pre app...why don't u fill it out today, the more interest you show-the better....best wishes

Just get the confirmation fast......due to pick season it is tough to get ticket..........

I have deferred my admission to next fall. I am supposed to file a written/printed application to do that. Hope they will also grant me Jesuit Award next fall.
alchemist5, it's ur right not to mention the college name. But, I wonder why u do that.
Hope it is Lee or some sort of like that.
