Hey class of 2011,
Today I chatted with the international students of COLBY's class of 2012 and almost 99% were from U.W.C. It seems that U.W.C. graduates tend to get good colleges very easily. Does anybody has idea about how competitive they are? In what aspect they are more qualified or stronger than us?

People from UWC colleges around the world tend to get into good colleges because

I) It is really competitive to get into these colleges in the first place due to which the people who graduate out of these colleges are usually pretty good

II) UWC colleges have IB program which is probably the most rigorous college preparatory course there is... so it makes sense that people who have taken IB in their their high school get a lot of attention...

It's hard to say whether they are actually stronger or more qualified..but at least on paper...their credentials look better...

People who go to UWC are not only good on paper but they are strong in real life. The UWC experience is so intense that when you go to College, you are ready to kick the road. UWC is the best ! period. (LOL)
