Does anyone know if the application deadline for the ivy league schools (around dec 31 and jan 1) is a postmark date or the date the application stuff has to be received by? If it's not the same for each school, what's each school's policy and where can i find that information? I'm specifically concerned with deadline for international applications (from Canada), in case it is different from domestic applications.

nvm, i stopped being lazy for once and looked the stuff up myself, they are all postmark dates, at least the schools i'm applying to.

It depends on the school, but mostly likely yeah, b/c everyone that i looked at so far are postmark

even if it is later than 1st it doesn't matter much..colleges won't punish u for somthing ur teachers did(posting late)...so, ur application is the main thing which should be postmarked on 1st.
