Anyone accepted to IUB?

Did anyone else hear back from round 1 apps yet? I just heard on Monday that I got in. Anyone going there for sure?

I am so surprized to see that someone from NYC is doing IUB...I mean does that imply IUB is really that good?

I wouldn't worry about it lol. I am probably the only person in NY state, let alone NYC who applied, but I just happened to get a brochure in the mail back in September, that's really the only reason I applied in the 1st place. Then after, I looked more into, and talked to some people who went there, did it become my first choice.
And to be honest, my SAT's were pretty low compared to some of the ppl on here. 1700. But I had loads of extra ciricualrs that were pretty unique I guess, so that probably helped.
But IUB was just a really nice choice for me since I used to spend every summer in Vienna learning German, and I'm not fluent enough to attened a german university, but the oppertunity to live abroad and brush up on my german seemed a nice option. Plus the fact that I can finish my degree in 3 years as opposed to four is great since I'm eager to get on with the rest of my education.
