| Well, I'll give you an example. Berkeley's cost for in-state applicants is bellow 10.000 dollars (from within California) whereas out-of-state applicants have to pay more than 20.000 dollars...get it? |

channn you are considered in state by UCs if you are a resident of California and if you reside in some other state you are considered out of state
