Agreed. I also find that stepping back and seeing the big picture helps. Like, for example. I have already got into a great college (Go Longhorns!), so I don't mind excessively if I don't get into stuff like Stan or even Rice. This approach works almost whenever I'm down....

Ah well, now I am feeling miserable, as I started this topic indirectly But like what angelutza said, its better to be prepared for the worst rather than to get disillusioned.....

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, thats become my favourite quote now

I also wonder what if I won't get anywhere. But in that case, there's always the University of Bucharest and the possibility of starting a 'class of 2013' thread

hey how are you guys doing? long time no see, sorry
how many interviews did you have? I, for myself, had one with brown over the phone (not so good..) and two great interviews for Tufts and Duke.. we'll see how this works out.

When I got home from the barracks today, I saw a sweet DHL package in my room! ACCEPTED TO USC '12. It felt so good to read "Welcome to the Trojan familiy" on the package.
USC has never been my first choice (I don't really have one..) but I'm just so glad that I got at least into one college!! Like the SATs and everything were not just a waste of money and time!

The second positive news: My military service is almost over!!!!! 17/18 weeks are done and only 1 (!!!!) week is left. This means that i'm going to be online more often in the next weeks... How are you guys doing????
